School Tutoring Program

School Tutoring Program turns 25!

The School Tutoring Program celebrates its 25th Birthday in 2009. The Program was established in 1984 to support local high school students with the transition to University. Whilst the look and scope of the program has changed over the past 25 years, the commitment to the local community remains.

School Tutoring Program
The School Tutoring Program is a community program that began in 1984. The tutors are volunteers who donate one hour of their time once a week to help year 11 and 12 students from local priority high schools prepare for the HSC.

Tutoring takes place on Monday and Wednesday afternoons between 3.30 – 6.30pm for a minimum of one hour. Tutors pick the day and time which best suits them. The tutoring sessions are held on level 4 of the WentworthBuilding opposite the School Tutoring Program Office.

2009 positions open during O-Week, 25 - 27 February 2009.
